  • 1984 Born (November 12), Zimbabwe
  • 1990 starts driving around his uncle’s tobacco farm
  • 2000 passes his driving test and gets his first rally car – Group N Toyota Corolla
  • 2001 finishes seventh on his first ever rally (the Zimbabwe Challenge Rally – a round of the FIA African Championship) aged 16
  • 2002 Zimbabwe Rally Champion
  • 2003 Second in the FIA African Rally Championship (won his class)
  • 2004 Junior World Rally Championship debut, Monte Carlo, Ford Puma
  • 2005 Junior World Rally Championship, Citroen Saxo/C2
  • 2006 Junior World Rally Championship, Renault Clio. British Junior Champion in a Subaru Impreza
  • 2007 Junior World Rally Championship, Citroen C2. Won the FIA African Rally Championship in a Subaru Impreza, collecting his first Safari Rally win along the way. Made his debut in a World Rally Car, driving a Citroen Xsara on Rally Great Britain
  • 2008 Full WRC programme with PH Sport/Citroen Technologies. Uses Xsara WRC in Monte Carlo and Sweden; C4 WRC after. Wins the Abu Dhabi Spirit of the Rally award for finishing fourth in Argentina – only his second event in the C4.
